Vacation Blog 5: Easter

We have not been away for an actual sacred holiday in a very long time! We thought we would take advantage of this opportunity and spend Easter somewhere warmer. It wasn't that warm in Dallas but much warmer than Minnesota! Here Micah and Mommy are all ready to go to church.

We don't take that great of family photos but we are working on it! This is at Nathan and April's house before church.






After church we ate breakfast at Uncle Nathan and Aunt April's church. Micah seems very excited about her fruit but she didn't eat any of it.

We bought 48 plastic eggs and a whole bunch of candy and Uncle Nathan "hid" the eggs in the backyard. Micah was the only participant. This will be the last time she gets to find all of the eggs by herself so we figured might as well make it big! Here she is waiting to go on an Easter Egg Hunt!

Every time she found an egg she wanted to open it up right away. This would have taken forever but Grandma convinced her to just find them and then open them. The poor girl only got to eat candy out of one egg and then we took it all from her and ate it ourselves!
