Making Cookies

Since we moved into this house Micah loves "cooking" in the kitchen. She gets her stool out and helps whenever we let her. Today we made cookies and she was sooo excited because it was real cooking and not pretending with dirty dishes and water. Once she got her apron and chef's hat on she was ready to go!

Cracking eggs...I know we are crazy! Daddy taught her how to do it so when Mommy was showing her Micah decided it was all wrong. Mommy was trying to fish out an egg shell and Micah said, "No, Mommy, you do it like this!" She picked up the egg and smacked it on the side of the measuring cup shattering it into a million pieces! So much for fishing out one shell!

Mixing...she kept sticking her fingers in it!
Mmm...chocolate chips...we lost the hat!

The best part: licking the mixers!And finally they were ready for dunking!
